The UMKC Center for Economic Education is involved in a wide variety of activities focused around assisting schools in promoting economic education in grades K-12. In addition to conducting research in the field of economic education, writing grant proposals for program funding, and designing and teaching economic courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, we also: develop and maintain a lending library of economic education resources, design and conduct school building or district teacher in-service training workshops in economic education, design and develop K-12 economic education curricula, facilitate social studies curriculum mapping , provide consulting services with regard to appropriate institutional strategies and economic education resources for the K-12 grade levels, and facilitate the development of school-business partnerships. If you are interested in any of these programs or would like to receive more information about what we do, who we are, or how we can help your K-12 programs in the area of economic education, please send us an email (voylesg@umkc.edu).
