Our work also targets students pursuing careers in addiction counseling and related healthcare disciplines. We provide resources to 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Pacific Territories. We develop an addiction workforce of competent healthcare and related professionals reflective of the treatment population. We advance standards of professional practice for addiction workers in various settings. We shape systems of care by translating substance abuse treatment research for use in clinical practice. The ATTC Network strives to develop products and services that meet the specific needs of the treatment workforce, regardless of education level or work setting. To help bridge the gap between addiction science and treatment services, we utilize a variety of media to deliver cutting-edge innovations to treatment professionals.
